跨年

不知從幾時開始，在台灣跨年活動像野火燎原般，越來越多，越來越誇張。

辦跨年沒有什麼不好，但是放眼現今，幾乎都是為活動而活動，沒有任何內涵可言，看似五光十色，實則乏善可陳，只剩下歌手扭腰擺臀，謂之勁歌熱舞。台下觀眾則摩肩接踵，搖頭晃腦，享受混雜的空氣及高分貝噪音。

午時一到，高聲倒數，煙火齊放，噼嚦啪啦燒掉數百數千萬元，然後眾人作鳥獸散，留下滿地垃圾，十足末世紀的況味。

在網路上看到有人為2011年作了個影片，雖然簡短，但也點出了過去一年裡值得紀錄的幾件事，有好有壞，加起來就是我們生命中的一年。

書「痴」

哄過小孩上床的人都知道，睡前儀式絕對不可隨便更改，床邊故事固定就是那幾套，述敘的方式、語氣都神聖不可侵犯，誰人敢隨便敷衍，包準鬧到半夜不得安寧。

雖然小時候的床邊時光已經久遠到模糊不清，現在的我依然停留在幼兒水準，每天固定要看爛熟的老故事。那些熟到倒背如流的故事，讓人有一種安心感，讀上幾頁即可放鬆的自然入眠。阿嘉莎(Agatha Christie)的老派偵探故事是我最佳的睡前書。

昨天不知怎麼反症，找了一本麥可班恩(Ed McBain)的87分局(87th Precinct)來看，好死不死，竟然忘了故事結局，於是很興奮的從頭讀到尾，然後無比清醒的鬧了一夜失眠。真是慘啊！

許多人認為推理小說不值得購買，想看就去借去租，真相大白後，誰還有興趣再看一遍，用買的不是太不上算？但是像我這樣搞了一櫃子書又記性超爛的人，舊書重讀，有時候還是很新鮮刺激。

能夠溫故而知新，這算是好的一面，糟糕的一面是，當我在網路書店逛來逛去時，常常在頭腦不清楚兼手滑的狀況下，又重覆購買相同的書。前陣子將書房大肆整理一番，才發現自己有好幾本書買了兩遍，當下真是哭笑不得啊。

讀過的故事忘記結局，買過的書再買一次，這麼說來，我也算是某種異類的書「痴」啊！
